No, this has not turned into an agricultural blog, but the photo of frozen Oranges in California was too shocking not to share
About 70% of the crop is expected to be frozen, so we can expect a price hike in a few weeks.

isn’t the usual orange juice made from “frozen concentrate” after all?
this industry just figured out how to shorten the supply chain and lower cost of good sold.

Btw, I do make a point of buying “not from concentrate” products, like Odwalla, or Tropicana.

the cold snap reminds me of the flatlands of saskatchewan when harvest hit ..but olde ma nature said … “nope ..gonna freeze ya out..”
My question is …” what can you all ferment ,from frozen citric acid , that will help your region to produce methane gas? or ” are you not gonna bother and whine that there is no non renewable energy from that..?
