Hi Marcia,

Thanks, it certainly helps. I hope the fix will make it to the "branches" and whatever else is needed to release it BEFORE the next WinUpdate.

OK, here is the quick and dirty explanation:

The "trunk" is our development branch. We usually check things on that branch before we land on our active branches so that we can "shake things out" to see if there are any issues. We currently have two active branches->Firefox 1.5.0.x and Firefox 2.0.0.x. We recommend that users use the latest Firefox 2.0.0.x release, since the 1.5.0.x branch will be end of lifed soon.

Once a fix has "baked" on the trunk for a sufficient time, we will then move it to the relevant branch(es) and do further testing on it there. In this case, the fix you are referring to has not yet been checked in. I can certainly update any interested parties when it lands on the 2.0.0.x branch. Hope this helps a bit.

Hey Zoli ,, I feel your pain ,, several yrs ago I built my first PC and learned much about PC's Windows and Hardware software compatibility .

That all changed 2 yrs ago , when I bought a new G4 12inch Powerbook , I bought it because of my first Ipod mini ,, it just worked the first time .

I love my Mac , very few times am I interupted with annoying updates ,, spyware and virus scanning ,,

While my current Desktop is still adequate for occasional use .

My next laptop will be another MAC , not a PC

Ouch .. Marcia, I ran out to the backyard, checked the large tree... both the trunk and the branches.... did not see anything :-)

Joke apart, although I suspect what you're saying, would you care to translate it into English for my more "mainstream" readers ... :-)

Zoli: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375114 was checked in on the trunk but not on the Mozilla branches yet. So if you are running 2.0.0.3 you will still see the bug. It has approval for checkin on the branch.
