You make some good points here, but you cannot argue with the fact that when money exchanges hands, most (but not all) people external to this relationship will perceive the existence of quid pro quo, whether it does so or not. You make some good points here, but you cannot argue with the fact that when money exchanges hands, most (but not all) people external to this relationship will perceive the existence of quid pro quo, whether it does so or not. That’s just a fact of life.
