Jonathan,

You like it, you use it. I don't want it, so why do I have to sign up (or just log in?? since I am using the original Plaxo..) and figure out how to shut off these notifications? Auto-including me is spam.

Zoli,

Sorry have to disagree with you about Plaxo. Unfair.

Early on sure. But now they offer quite a granularity in the choices you have for what emails you receive. True you have to understand that the options are there and it isn't very intuitive about how to get there. But, I think Pulse is pretty powerful and I am willing to have some trade-offs. Plus I have to admit I actually like the birthday notices - I am really bad at remembering dates. But I wish they could let me choose to only have certain birthdays like friends.

I'm sick of rewriting everyones new cell phone #, new email address, etc. I'd love to have people's new contact info automatically updated. Please no email reminders of birthdays google, but if it's running in the background and I can send an email with more confidence that it's going to get to the person, great!
