One can learn a lot from analyzing the visitors’ log. I typically look for referrer sites, keywords, and my own most popular pages. Today I’m baffled: the most frequent referrer site is my own TypeKey page. Why? How do readers even get there? I can’t figure it out, if anyone has an idea, please comment below.
Thanks.

Is SixApart spamming your server? 😉
The visitors all come from different IP addresses, but un unusually hight number has my Typekey as a referrer.. I don’t know what to think of it. Are you seeing anything like this at the Herald? Btw. congrat’s it looks like you’ve made a better deal finally:-) (?).
Sometimes when I comment on a TypePad blog, the sig url is to my blog, other times to the TypeKey profile… so it could be that I left a comment on a popular blog and people click through .. but still, I’ve never seen it in such numbers. Oh, well…
You contributed #11 on Guy’s list at http://blog.guykawasaki.com/2006/02/how_to_prevent_.html and people want to know who you are.
(BTW, your LinkedIn Profile link is dead)
Hi Rick, thanks, it makes sense, I did not realize his blog used the typekey URL, the blog URL would make more sense, see my previous comment above.
What do you get when you try to click my LinkedIn profile? I just tried it and it works for me…
Thanks.
