    Maybe they’re at a stage where they can only sell to poseurs who’re proud to be able to afford an insanely gaz-guzzling “car”? A bi like gold-plating your car, just to show everybody that you can afford it…

    i think it speaks well to their target audience — and your revulsion would reinforce a prospective hummer owner’s choice: they want to stand out, be crass, insult prudence. agency should get props.
